Satish Menon
– Program Development/ Management Specialist
Mr. Menon is a Program Development/ Management Specialist with over 30 years of experience as an engineer and program manager leading multidisciplinary and multinational teams in planning and implementing water-related facilities and working with multi-lateral donors, private companies, NGOs, and local governments in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Latin America, and the United States. He offers clients the benefit of his infrastructure development experience in conducting risk assessment/risk mitigation exercises with clients and project stakeholders to manage project risks and define adequate levels of mitigation.
As a developmental specialist, Mr. Menon’s approach is to create an “ecosystem” around a proposed infrastructure-driven project by integrating various disciplines and stakeholders through its planning and implementation stages for the singular purpose of maximizing the project’s desired outcome. This provides for investing in people responsible for developing and sustaining the infrastructure and the project at large and providing reliable service to the project beneficiaries.
Nahum S. Jere
– Infrastructure Specialist.
Eng. Nahum Stackson Jere is a professional licensed Engineer registered with the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ) and the Engineer Registration Board of Zambia (EngRB). He has 14 years’ experience in the Construction of public sector and Private sector developments with Design and Supervision experience of Roads, Bridges, Buildings, and Water and Sanitation infrastructure. He has also been involved in the preparation of Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs), Resettlement Action Plans (RAPs) and Resettlement Implementation activities for Public sector infrastructure projects. Eng Jere is also a member of the Association of Consulting Engineers of Zambia (MACEZ).
Eng. Jere holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Zambia, a Master of Engineering degree in Construction management from the University of Zambia, Master of Science Degree in Geotechnical Engineering and Foundations from Structuralia, and currently pursuing a Master of Engineering degree in Structural Engineering (Research stage) from the University of Zambia.
Mwango Mulambia
– Environmental, Social, and Gender Specialist
Mwango is with over 10 years of experience in environmental, social, gender inclusion in working environments and community engagement and over 4 years of experience in social development and humanitarian program management and implementation. She also possesses wide expertise in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E). Mwango is currently a Resettlement Implementation Consultant/Business Development Director at AIZ and a part-time lecturer of Project Management and Development at the University of Zambia in the school of humanities and social sciences. As a Resettlement Implementation Consultant on the Lusaka Water Supply Sanitation and Drainage Project, a MCC-funded project where she provides leadership and supporting financial literacy among women and vulnerable Household from low-income households. She is also proficient in handling Grievance Redress Mechanisms (GRM) for Resettlement Projects.
She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies from the University of Zambia and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Change and International Development from the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom. Furthermore, her dedication to advancing her proficiency in M&E is evidenced by her membership in the prestigious Zambia Monitoring and Evaluation Association.
Christopher P. Kalimalwendo
-Database Developer
Christopher is an ICT Specialist with over 12 years of Multisector experience working with Government, International Development Firms, Retail and Merchandizing providing quality work. He specializes Databases Management creation, administering and troubleshooting computer/cloud databases that can process large amounts of information and keep it secure. He is proficient in using code and web architecture to design data systems,Model Driven Mobile Apps; analyze and maintain existing databases and implement new user features. Christopher also uses GIS to analyze Spatial Information.
Christopher is a full member of the Information Communications Technology Association of Zambia (ICTAZ). He holds a Honors BSc degree from Greenwich University (London) in Computing.
Mercy Ngosa Katongo
– Field Team Manager
Mercy has got a vast range of over 12 years’ experience across sectors including the Resettlement Works and Construction Industry. In 2016, she joined an internationally recognized consulting and engineering company and assisted in managing field activities of Resettlement Works on a multi-million dollar worth project – Lusaka Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage Project funded by the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).Her areas of expertise includes managing Sub-Contractors, preparation of Interim project claims (IPCs), and preparation of progress reports as well as site visits.
Previously Mercy has worked on managing building and road construction projects in various parts of the country such as in Itezhi tezhi and Lusaka where she performed duties of contract management and ensuring compliance to conditions and terms of the financial element of the project. She also worked with the Ministry of Works, Transport, Supply and Communication (Zambian Government) with seasoned Quantity Surveyors in bill preparation, Tender Evaluation, taking off quantities and Setting Out.
She graduated from Copperbelt University with a bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying in 2012. Professionally, she is a member of the Surveyors Institute of Zambia (SIZ) and currently pursuing a masters in Project Management.
